From the minute we drove onto the property we were met with the best people. The staff were great. Regina pretty runs the place from being the front end receptionist to bartender to kitchen/ waitress. Just loved to ambience. Highly recommend!

Fabulous staff with Eddie going the extra mile. Attention to detail was perfect. Food was amazing home cooked. Bed was so comfortable and water available for drinking. Will be back next time i'm in Arusha.

There was so much to love! The staff were so incredibly helpful and friendly - Yvonne at the front desk took care of everything we needed; Naomi, the chef, made us delicious meals in the stylish restaurant (the African beef stew was incredible); and Rose in house keeping made sure our room was so comfortable. The property itself is beautiful, a little piece of paradise in a big, sometimes crazy city! The WiFi worked great, and the showers were hot with good pressure - a welcome thing indeed in Tanzania. We had drinks in the charming little bar at night as we chatted with Yvonne too, which was fantastic.

Everything was great, including an awesome shower. Location is not central; you need a car, uber or other arrangement to get to anything. Very helpful staff, good food, safe and lovely setting.

A very sweet and affordable place from which to launch a safari or Kilimanjaro visit. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Naomi was absolutely lovely, made us an early breakfast because we had an early pick-up, and generally made sure we had everything we needed.

Location is great - right in the middle of Arusha and a quick taxi ride to most places in town. The hotel itself is beautiful, somewhat secluded, and full of lush green plants. It is an oasis and very different from the regular hotel experience in town. I also stayed at the Palace Hotel Arusha on the main road and found Zawadi House felt much more like a home rather than a hotel. The staff was super friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to extend our group an extra room since the hotel was not full, and they supported us with laundry service and cleaning of our boots after hiking Kilimanjaro on short notice. Throughout our stay, everyone was very accommodating and kind, which added to the feel of home. And the chef Naomi's food is great!
